Are you ready for summer yet? It looks like Nike definitely is. The Nike Juvenate is a brand-new silhouette, though heavily inspired by the popular Roshe One.
The sneaker offers super-light comfort and flexibility. The mesh upper delivers maximum breathability, while the overlays on the midfoot and heel give you just the right amount of stability. The honeycomb pattern underneath the mesh is reminiscent of the Nike Rejuven8 Mid – which was last seen in 2010 and shares a similar name.
So what distinguishes the Juvenate from the Roshe One? Nike’s newest innovation is called “fold-and-go”, which basically means that the flexible upper is fully foldable, so that you can easily stow the sneakers in your handbag or luggage. A very cool idea that will make the Nike Juvenate a favorite (not only) at the beach.
Since the controversy surrounding the previously intended name has been resolved, the Nike Juvenate is now ready to conquer the streets. The women’s version is now available in four different colorways: all-white, gray, black/white and hot lava.
