KICKZ on Court is back! This time around we take a look back at the month of November. Check out our compilation and let us know who got the best shoe game in your opinion in the comments below!
We start off big. The Pacers honor the Indiana basketball history symbolized by the Academy Award-winning movie Hoosiers this year by wearing the iconic Hickory High uniforms for 10 games. Monta Ellis busted out matching Air Jordan 13s. Color-coordinated to perfection.
The Morris twins are a fierce double punch when it comes to their shoe game. Marcus seems to be a huge fan of the Air Jordan XI while his brother Markieff’s weapon of choice is the Nike Air Foamposite. While they used to play together for the University of Kansas they haven’t managed to stay together on one team in the NBA. So when the Pistons and the Suns met early in November it was a happy family get-together. Marcus wore the classic Air Jordan XI, Markieff played in the “Stealth” Foams.

Against the Cavs he broke out the Air Jordan XI “Concord” …
… but his go-to colorway seems to be the Bred. Not as sophisticated in terms of color coordination as Monta Ellis but he stays true to his style.
Like we said, Markieff is a Foams-kind-of-guy. He’s been wearing a bunch of different colorways throughout the month, including “Wolf Grey”, the recently released “White Gucci” and the dark “Stealth” one we’ve seen above already.
He got even more fancy with the “Safari” CW and the brand-new “Hologram” Foams which were one of Nike’s 2015 Black Friday releases and which apparently he got a little earlier than us ordinary people.
Moving on to his teammate P.J. Tucker. The chubby Suns’ forward would be a great role player – if there was a role called “best shoe game”. In mid-November he played some games wearing the Nike Air Yeezy II. Yeah, you really just read that. Below are some pictures as proof.
This wasn’t a big exception in terms of extravagant footwear choice. Tucker also recently played in Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” as well as the Air Jordan 14 “Graphite Chartreuse”. Not too bad, not too bad …
Continuing in the same vein Eric Bledsoe actually played in the Air Jordan III “Drake vs. Lil Wayne”. Dig that?
With all this craze, let’s stop and calm down a little with a guy whose footwear choice is a little more down to earth – if not less strange. Thabo Sefolosha actually continues playing with the Nike Air Max 1 Mid. The colorways definitely look dope but we’re still not quite sure if this is healthy in the long run. It looks like a torn ACL in the making. Hopefully not. Fingers crossed.
Jordan Clarkson is currently the most consistent Lakers player – and that says a lot about the state of the franchise. With Kobe in his farewell season and rookie D’Angelo Russell not yet producing the Lakers rely on the 23 year old guard from San Antonio. His shoe game is first class already. Below you can see him wit the Air Jordan XI “Legend Blue” and the Air Jordan X “Lady Liberty”.
We’ve seen a bunch of foams on Markieff Morris’ feet but not this one. Check out Rudy Gay rocking the Nike Air Foamposite One “Mirror”.
In the aftermath of the Paris Attacks, Rudy Gay also wore a P.E. Nike Hyperdunk 2015 with Eiffel Tower/peace sign print and the French flag.
For Veteran’s Day, Joe Johnson played in the “Black Camo” colorway of the Jordan Super.Fly 4. The night before he wore the black-and-white Jacquard Knit version of Blake Griffin’s quasi signature shoe.
DeMarcus Cousins was the king of week 1 with his Air Jordan II. Boogie looks to defend his title with the white Air Jordan X OVO. Pretty damn sleek!
The Adidas Crazylight Boost 2015 is still very popular with many many NBA guards. Here we see Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors with a bunch of hot P.E.s.
With their NBA apparel deal about to expire, adidas is looking to take over the shoe game. Their signature lines for some of the hottest guards in the game play a big part in their strategy. The J Wall 2 is one of those signature kicks and the John Wall’s all-red version really caught our eyes.
Under Armour managed to establish itself in the NBA very quickly. Rookie Emmanuel Mudiay reminds us that they have more to offer than Steph Curry’s signature line. Here we see him wearing the Under Armour Clutchfit Drive Low. If his competition keeps knocking itself out of the race for rookie of the year (pun intended), Mudiay might still have a shot.
We finish in Toronto where DeMar DeRozan brought out the bling. The guard from Compton, California actually broke out the Nike Kobe X EXT “Liquid Gold”, in other words the lifestyle version of Kobe’s tenth Nike signature shoe. Apparently, you can actually ball in them.
