In this new series we go to visit our stores across Germany to introduce you to their staff and ask them about their favorite items from the current collections. We start off in our home base Munich. KICKZ Monaco was the first KICKZ store to ever open its doors back in 1993. This is where it all started more than 20 years ago. If you’re wondering, Monaco is the Italian name for Munich. So if you wanna pay Sven and his crew a visit, please don’t go to Monte Carlo.
In 2004, the store received a complete makeover. Since then, it features the innovative high gloss black shoe wall which gives customers a real-time overview of the sneaker’s name, price and available sizes. In the beginning, the store was was just named KICKZ and after that, from 2005, KICKZ tier.zero. KICKZ Monaco got its current name in 2009. But enough about history, let’s meet 2 members of the crew, Jess and Joel.

How long have you been working at KICKZ?
I’ve been hanging around the store for about 2 years and I’m currently doing an internship here.
What’s your favorite place in Munich?
The sports ground at Bonner Platz where I play basketball and football or just hang out with my friends.
What’s your favorite track/album of 2015?
J. Cole – Forest Hills Drive
What’s the last thing you spent money on?
Adidas Yeezy 350 Boost “Moonrock” which I luckily won in a raffle.

Obviously the Yeezy, but also Air Jordan 11 “Concord” and Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux”
